This painting was made with 100% lavender essential oil solvent. The image for the work was made in collaboration with The Grow Lab at Central Saint Martins and depicts the trichomes on a lavender flower. The work is made combining abstract painting techniques with a projected, traced overlay of microscopy imagery.
