This painting was made with 100% lavender essential oil solvent. The image for the work was made in collaboration with The Francis Crick institute and depicts an x-ray image of a lavender flower. The work blends together regenerative design and art and science collaboration. The work was described by the artist’s scientific collaborators as “stained-glass-like” and “hauntingly beautiful.”
