This painting was made with 100% lavender essential oil solvent. The image for the work was made in collaboration with The Grow Lab at Central Saint Martins and depicts the trichomes on a lavender flower. Bold and stylised, the piece draws the viewer into the world of microscopy, where they becomes lost among the strange new forms.
